How to create and manage In-Store Links

Creating in-store links to allow frictionless checkout for your customers at your store has never been easier. To create in-store links, simply follow these steps:

1. In your ChatGenie Dashboard, go to Referral Manager.

2. Click on Smart Retail Links and click Add.

3. Assign a unique Smart Retail Link name and a custom URL.

4. Select the appropriate Sales Channel. (ie GLife)

5. Click on Add.

Once the link has been generated, you can create a QR code by using any QR code generator. We recommend tools like Bitly's QR Code Generator with its ready-made frames (note: requires signing up), QR Code Monkey, and Beaconstac's QR Generator which offers customization for a price.

Orders made thru In-store links are treated as regular orders in the dashboard and will go thru the standard order process. These orders can easily be distinguished by its own sales channel tag.
